Jammu: Indian forces continued a violent cordon and search operation (CASO) for the second consecutive day in Udhampur district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Global Mirror, the operation led by the Indian army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Special Operations Group (SOG) is ongoing in the Majalta area of the district.
Indian officials claimed that an encounter broke out in the area. The operation intensified with the backing of aerial surveillance. The officials said that a gunfire originated from a cave in the forested area. Drones have also been pressed into service.
