Srinagar:Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti has condemned the attacks on Kashmiris outside Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, stating that Indian state governments are shielding perpetrators.
According to Global Mirror, Mufti tweeted, reacting to a video showing an elderly Kashmiri man being harassed in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur:
“The rule of law has been replaced by politics of fear” .
Mufti criticized IIOJK MLAs and MPs for their silence, saying, “Where are the MPs of J&K who should be raising their voices as such attacks become routine?” She referenced a recent incident in Uttarakhand where a young Kashmiri, Tabish, was brutally assaulted.
