Jammu: Indian troops opened fire after detecting a suspected drone over Gulpur village in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), sparking panic and fear among residents in the area.
According to Global Mirror, the aerial object was spotted during routine surveillance, prompting Indian forces to fire approximately 15 to 20 rounds in an attempt to neutralise it, officials said. The drone, however, could not be brought down, they added.
“The object later moved towards Siriyan village,” the officials further said.
